Entirely handmade in our Italian tailoring workshop, this curtain was created to furnish classic, romantic, shabby chic and French country environments with a refined and timeless style.

Georgette is an extremely light, semi-transparent fabric that delicately lets natural light filter through, creating a bright, soft, and welcoming atmosphere without weighing down the room.

This model's design features an elegant drape at the bottom. The two central bows, made of the same georgette, shape the curtain, creating the soft movement seen in the photographs. This is not a height-adjustable curtain, but rather a model designed to achieve this unique decorative effect, making any window even more elegant.

The floral arrangements applied to the bows are decorative and removable.

At the top, the curtain is equipped with a practical rod pocket, which allows direct insertion onto any standard diameter curtain rod, making installation simple, quick and elegant.

Measures

Measurements are always given in the following order:

Width × Height

The height refers to the lowest point of the central curve of the awning, as shown in the photographs.

We have many standard sizes available, but we can also make any custom size.

For sizes other than those available in our Etsy shop, please contact us.

How to choose the width

Georgette is a very lightweight fabric that, when gathered, significantly reduces its width. To achieve the same soft, rich effect shown in the photographs, we recommend choosing a width at least double, or preferably more than double, the size of your rod.

For example:

* 100cm pole → curtain at least 200cm.
* 150cm pole → curtain at least 300cm.
* 200cm pole → 400cm curtain.

The maximum width that can be achieved for a single sheet is 400 cm, the ideal size for a pole up to 200 cm.

If your rod is longer than 200 cm, you will need to purchase two panels to install on the same rod. This way, each panel will maintain the characteristic drape and aesthetic effect seen in the photographs.

Making a single panel longer than 400 cm is not recommended, as it would alter the design of the model and would not allow you to achieve the elegant result for which this awning was designed.

Washing

Machine washable on a delicate cycle at 30°C.

Before washing, simply remove the decorative flower arrangements, which are removable.

The bows, on the other hand, are an integral part of the curtain's construction and remain applied during washing.

Georgette is a high-quality fabric that does not shrink and maintains its lightness, softness, and elegant drape over time.
